Design
Austrian artist & designer
Raoul Haspel can’t be put in a box.
His artistic process betrays a high degree of affinity to material, as he engages with it and fully exhausts its potential by following a variety of artistic concepts. In doing so, he creates a wide array of results such as stencils, installations, original graphic reproductions, sandstone displays, laser-engraved cardboard, or the industrial design of a diving torpedo for an attempt at breaking a world record.
Raoul Haspel holds a Master’s degree from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.
Industrial Design
Design of various kinds is the applied art in Haspel's Portfolio. With his high affinity to material and production concepts he always seeks for the perfect balance of style and function.
Material Concept
In material & production concepts, Raoul Haspel is pushing the boundaries, notably with his projects for companies such as Breitling, RedBull, Opec, MÆRSK.
Graphic Design
There, too, the crossover artist is known as "a true materialist" creating everything but "paper with ink".
